Artist Suites & Retreat Costs
Your art retreat is located in Freeport Maine, in a 1796 home, also known as the Soule-Lambert-Blethen House, or Porters Landing Guest House. Close to 3000 square feet (of the 4700 square foot building) is a small boutique inn, which is comprised of a large 676 square foot art studio space (which you will get to use during your stay), a small art gallery, two beautiful guest suites, and a lovely shared two story foyer. Each guest suite is unique, quiet, 100% private, cozy, and ready for your creative week! One portion of the property is home to the Guest House's owner & her family. She will be your host during your stay, and you will find her working in the art studio most days. Exactly 1 mile from downtown Freeport and all of it's galleries, shopping, cafes, restaurants, and activities! - and just a 3 minute stroll to the water's edge. In addition to a wonderful downtown, Freeport is loaded with nature trails, secret coves, farms, and artistic inspiration at every corner!

Suite Two: The Merchant's Quarters
Due to the Covid Virus, we are only taking reservations for one suite at a time right now. When it's safe to do so, we will open up the Merchant's Quarters for reservations! This is our way of making sure that visiting artists can enjoy the common areas without fear for their health or safety. We do require that masks be worn in the common areas for the time being. Someday, we will all be able to be mask-free again! :)
